Sort of, if you have a lot of disposable income, probably. Scarbo Performance has built the SVF1 to help you dispose of some of that extra income. It is a trackday car styled after the Ferrari 312 from 1967 and motivated by an LS V8, because of course it is.
Power levels range from 430 to 525 hp and that engine is backed by a 5 or 6 speed H-pattern gearbox. Selectable traction control is fitted as standard and a paddle-shifted sequential box is also available, if you’re a pansy. The car can be done up in a variety of vintage liveries to complete the dream of driving your heroes car.

I’d rather get any number of formula cars than this... it looks off.

I like it a lot if I approach it as a restomod kinda situation.
But I know the r word is banned here by some

I can’t say I see anything too far off the real deal. The only thing I see is that the engine looks like it sits kind of high in the chassis, though it looks like the bodywork may be cut lower around it, providing a bit of a visual illusion.
It does need more exposed fasteners (or rivets) and period correct treaded tires though.

Restomod is best mod. Those who say otherwise be damned.

yeah, i think the engine really throws off the rear optics. that and the high back set.

Probably the most expensive and coolest way to kill yourself.

You're a cool person. What do you drive friend?

Hah, thanks. Nothing special, unfortunately. I drive a mazda3 whose only redeeming qualities are the hatch and third pedal.

I couldn’t find a price listed but I still agree. A blaze of glory if I were to go out in one of these.

Didn’t another company do that with the Lotus 49 about ten or so years ago?

Not that I had heard of before but a quick search leads me to this:

Needs a smaller displacement engine like a Hartley V8, no need for more than 400hp in a car that light. Also would package better with a physically smaller engine.
That said, for about a decade I’ve wanted to build something similar, the want is strong for one of these.

Seeing how something like 1 in 3 professional F1 drivers died in those things, I can’t imagine a 40-something investment banker who wants a weekend toy will fare much better...
